Founded in Osaka, Japan in 1948, Fujitec Co., Ltd has its world headquarters in Japan and also has other operational headquarters located in the Americas, Japan, South Asia, East Asia and Europe. With a network of 10 state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities and direct sales and service offices at various locations, the company strives to lead the industry in safety, innovation and quality.
Fujitec’s worldwide organization includes four research and development / engineering centers which are located in Japan, Singapore, China and the United States.
In Japan, Fujitec’s “Big Wing” facility houses a 560-foot research tower, one of the tallest of its kind in the world. This facility is focused on developing the latest technologies and integrating all phases of product development, design and manufacturing. Fujitec’s research and development facility in China is located in the Song Jiang Industrial Zone in Shanghai and is approximately 150,000 m2 (1.6 million sq. ft). This space is utilized for parts and components procurement.
Fujitec India Pvt. Ltd
Established in 2004 in Mumbai to undertake the marketing, installation, testing and commissioning of Fujitec's range of Vertical transportation Equipment comprising Elevators, Escalators and Autowalks in India. Fujitec India Pvt Limited is a fully owned subsidiary of Fujitec Co., Ltd. Japan.
After commencing operations from Mumbai region in 2004, Fujitec has rapidly expanded to other parts of the country like Chennai, Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad, Coimbatore, Cochin, Mangalore, Gurgaon, Delhi, Noida, Mysore, Chandigarh and most recently Punjab to cater to the expanding market demands.
To keep pace of the growing demand Fujitec set up a state of the art manufacturing facility in the year 2010 at Mahindra World City, near Chennai. The company's factory is built on a total area of 39,100 sq meters, the Indian factory is built in line with Fujitec's global production facilities to provide the same equipment standards that are being provided internationally.
